These are just some of Catherine Nelson's miniature planets series. Each image is comprised of hundreds of individual photographs which have been stitched together in Photoshop to create these fantastical surreal landscapes. I've seen this kind of thing done several times before but Catherine Nelson just does it in such a away that these images could be paintings. I definitely recommend checking her website out for loads more of these!

I'm in love these ink blots in water series by Alberto Seveso. You can download them as a wallpaper series here for free! I think they're epic I really want to try something like this, might see if I can for my next photography project. I think they were shot for The Temper Trap's second, most recent album 'The Temper Trap'. x

Sophie Thouvenin is a nature and portrait photographer from France. Her style is so wonderful, she photographs things in such a clever, abstract way. I love the way she uses light and shapes and depth of field, have a look at her photos, you will love them!

abstraction

My last post was over a month ago, I haven't posted for so long because I've had my art exam sketchbook to do, but I've done that now so hopefully I'll be posting more often :D

I have also taken lots of new photos, as spring is here! I went out with my camera today for the first time in AGES! and I took some photos of some of some flowers, grass etc. In these photos I was going for an abstract effect, they may be a little different to my normal photos, I really like them.
