My french exchange is coming tomorrow!!! I am a little nervous if I'm honest, but really looking forward to it. I really hope he enjoys his stay in England :) Have a nice weekend everyone!

Yesterday morning there was a really lovely sunrise and just couldn't miss it. These photos were taken in my garden from over the fence.

I can't remember if I said a few months ago in a post, but in March I went on a french exchange and on friday the french students are coming to England! So while my exchange (Sebastien) is here I probably won't have time to post as much. But when I was in France back in March, I remember him saying that he likes to take photos too! So I can let him try out my camera, and we're going to London on Saturday so we'll get some good photos then.

I am so glad it's the weekend now! I have 'The Lovely Bones' on DVD which I have rented from LOVEFiLM, I hope to watch it tomorrow with my mum and sister. I have never seen it, it's meant to be really good, but sad!

Just a one photo post... :) sorry!
I am very bored today. I watched Camp Rock 2. It was alright but very cheesy (I knew it was going to be cheesy though to be fair) I have homework waiting to be done but I just can't be bothered to be honest. I know I should do some especially seeing as I'm just moaning about being bored. Oh well... I'll just sit here on the computer :D Hmm.... I might work on my Christmas List actually...!

i had a good day...

Today I found out that I got an A* for my art coursework! I am so pleased. All the hard work I put into it actually paid off! Gahhhh.... I'm so pleased! :D

And also today I just feel so inspired to take loads more photos. It was raining, but after the rain the sun came out. The sky looked really lovely, especially in the evening sun. I hope you like these photos :)

new blog design

So I have updated my blog with a new layout and design, I hope you like it, I do :) But now I must say that OMG I really hate HTML and CSS! Most of the time it just doesn't make any sense whatsoever! Although I have found I am learning from it, and I found it easier to make this layout than the last one.

I'm sorry this isn't a picture post, I will upload some more before & after shots hopefully later or tomorrow!

1. I have recently fallen in love with Miss Selfridge. They have some really gorgeous clothes in there, many of which are on my Christmas list. It's not overly pricey either!



2. Cassia Beck can be found on flickr and on her blog. She seems to find the most simple, but wonderful objects and photographs them in such a beautiful way. I think you will enjoy looking through her photos, she has so many of them!



3. Extra Ordinary comics are hilarious. I have looked through every single one of them! Have a look at them, they are seriously randomly funny!



4. Swimchick.net is a great place to find inspiration for design. She provides some awesome free resources (brushes, tutorials, patterns etc.) Be sure to have a look at her tutorials, I made a really cool water colour style design based on her watercolour graphic tutorial:

pretty in pink

I went paintballing today for one of my friends birthday, it was really fun, but everyone got very sweaty lol! And someone hit me in the head from quite a close distance. I have lots of bruises all over, but it was very fun. My trainers have some very cool paint splatters all over them xD

I ended up spending quite a lot of my money on paint balls, which isn't good. I am meant to be saving up my money because in a couple weeks I am going on a big shopping trip with my mum, sister and aunty. I speant a lot of money yesterday too. I bought 3 canvases, lots of paint, a GORGEOUS skirt from miss selfridge (which by the way is my new favourite shop, at the moment they have some beautiful vintage style clothes, last weekend I bought a really nice cream lace cardigan, not too expensive either) and I also bought a new coat is bright red. I can't wait for some colder weather so I can start wearing it!

alice in wonderland

My grandma gave my sister a copy of Alice and Wonderland a few weeks ago, and it's such a cute looking book, I haven't actually read it, but I thought it would look great in some photos. More still life photos coming soon!

So I finally got round to taking some more photos. I have just been so busy with my art coursework (which I've nearly done!) I'm back to school tomorrow, to me the summer has gone too fast, but I am looking forward to Autumn.
